The house of representative on educational matters says No to cancelation of WASSCE.
HiHe argued that the sudden policy reversal is not good for the country and urged the presidency to direct all ministers to return to their state and help the governors and ensure the smooth implementation of the policy and conduct the exams.
Committee on Basic Education made the statement while reacting to the announcement made by the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu who on Wednesday cancelled the exams and said no school will participate in the WASSCE earlier scheduled for August 4th to September 5th.
The house committee disagrees and said it will create disappointment suspicion among parents, frustrate the student and show to our development partner and Nigerians that the distortion in the sector are only getting worse.
